Diabetes Squared

A year and a half ago our 3 year old son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. This past February 2010, our 5 year old daughter, who statistically had less than a 5% chance of sharing his fate, was also diagnosed with Type 1.  As parents of two children with this disease, my husband Reggie and I, both professional filmmakers, decided to create a web series to show our reality – the struggles, tensions and  unexpected joys as our family teams together and just tries to keep it together, living with diabetes times 2.
